Today I tried to upload WordPress theme from my computer machine but before/during, WordPress return me an error which is "
The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini."
I was slightly confused about that error because it was occurred on my client site during my work time on it.
That was the limitation error generated from hosting server side, that was mean now I need to increase the file limit size. So first I logged in to WordPress root directory and then go inside wp-admin find php.ini if doesn't exist this file then create new file and assign the name php.ini.
Paste the below code in it and hit on Save. If below lines already exist in your php.ini then update these values with the below values then hit Save.
upload_max_filesize = 1000M
post_max_size = 2000M
memory_limit = 3000M
file_uploads = On
max_execution_time = 180
Now I was tried again, this time it was working great.
Hopefully now this error have been removed.
